Mark Tayar, Founder and Principal Tutor
Mark Tayar is a young entrepreneur and teacher specialising in business studies, essay writing, study skills and Studies of Society and Environment (SOSE). Mark founded CanberraTutor.com as a way to help fellow tutors promote themselves without an intermediary skimming off their fees. As well as tutoring, Mark recruits, screens and trains the other tutors and conducts client surveys to ensure quality tuition.
Mark’s qualifications include:
- Bachelor of International Business (2007 graduate)
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (2009 graduate)
- Graduate Diploma of Secondary Education (current student)
- Master of Commerce (expected completion in 2010)

Raymond Chow, Founding Tutor
Raymond Chow is a highly gifted mathematician and essay editor. Raymond is currently studying Actuarial Studies at the ANU where for the past two years of study he has achieved High Distinctions in every class. As well as tutoring part-time, Raymond drafts and proof-reads letters for senior diplomats.
