Tuition Prices

The screened and trained tutors of CanberraTutor.com work as independent contractors so you get the best value tuition. Unlike most private tutor companies, we do not take a percentage of our tutor’s fees.

Prices will be negotiated by each tutor individually and will be based on past experience, subject complexity and the individual learning needs of each student.

As a general guide, we recommend the following all inclusive pricing structure:

• $20 per student per hour for group tuition sessions (groups of up to 4 students)
• $20 per student per hour for supervised study group (students study and ask occasional questions)
• $25 per hour for English conversation practice with a private tutor
• $35 per hour for tutors who have at least two years of undergraduate study in the area
• $40 per hour for our tutors who have tutoring experience, teaching qualifications and at least a Bachelor degree

Also, a  discount is usually available for booking 8 private tutor sessions in advance. Payment for tuition should be in cash or bank transfer and a receipt will be provided.
